Weekend Entertainment at REO
During the summer months, REO provides campfire entertainment with local bands and guitar players that will play a few sets on Friday and Saturday evenings. Families can enjoy our campfire entertainment area to share stories with our river guides and other guests, or just to roast marshmallows!Bernie Coatta (AKA Weekend with Bernie)
Musical influences run the gamut from Folk, Country and Rock & Roll. If you look at the play-list on this site, you’ll find that I cover a huge variety; artists like Dwight Yokam, Bob Seger, Bad Company, and Tom Cochran and the likes. I play everything from classic Top 40 to Irish traditional music. It’s my mission to make every performance a fun experience. I believe that people love live music and it’s been my experience that we are at our happiest when surrounded by the foot-tapping, butt-moving, grab somebody and get down kind of music that I love to perform. This is what I live for — it’s what keeps me playing!
REO looks forward to having Bernie back again in 2008. Don't miss it!

Little Brother
A REO favorite, Little Brother was formed in October 2002 and has over thirty years of combined recording and performing experience. The band came together because of their passion for powerful vocal harmonies and a straight-up, acoustic folk/rock sound.Introducing Little Brother, the core of which consists of Wes Reamsbottom (age 28), Dan Myers (25), Kelly McQuillan (29) Tyler Friesen (22) and Davis Friesen (20). Wes provides the pure vocal sound, acoustic guitar, percussions and a knack for writing great hooks while Dan provides a soulful voice, excellent songwriting, keys and bluesy lead guitar. Kelly hails from White Rock and adds an element of class to the band with her elegant keys and soulful saxophone. Tyler Friesen hails from Pitt Meadows and complements the band with steady, jazzy pocket drumming. Davis Friesen, the newest and youngest member of the band provides equally steady bass and rekindles the spirit of Little Brother with this new brother connection. This talented local BC band makes their home in the Vancouver area and they are quickly gaining attention for their song writing, harmonies and captivating performances.
Little Brother currently performs all over the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Whistler.
